As we approach the final
Diminishment of light,
Hope rises as we eagerly
Await a brighter horizon.
We give, share, and receive
Not just the gifts of Christmas,
But the promise of new life; new possibilities:
An end to past concerns,
A wealth of gratitude,
And a renewed generosity of spirit.
