Creativity and spirituality

(Graffiti from Santa Fe)

"The spiritual life is a creative process.  As we move with awareness
through the various stages of life, our divinity is being created in us...

Our finest spiritual discipline is the exercising of our freedom
to create from our deepest sources.  Like any freedom,
this implies responsibility, a willingness to be in touch with
and give expression to our images, in whatever form they come to us.
This means trusting that the images born out of emptiness
will be those which carry the greatest potential for the good of all."

Lois Robbins, Waking Up in the Age of Creativity
