Ribbon of love

Awakening in the night 

To a room filled with light 

And a sky full of stars,

 I can’t but reach for my camera.

 All my life these ribbons of light —

 Those rare moments 

When the moon seems to be reaching

 Out across the water —

 Have always seemed to promise 

That we’re never truly alone…
