On those gray days,
When life seems perilously empty
And any possible undertaking looks
Like another bridge to nowhere,
Allow yourself to rest
In the sameness of what you’re seeing;
Fill your heart with all that quiet peace
And send it like a prayer
To all who desperately need
A break from, and an end to,
War.
