That what you thought was safe and solid
In fact has no foundation; just illusion.
And then the choice is this:
To leave things as they are, or rip them out,
Risking a temporary instability,
And replace what was just appearances
With something stable, concrete, and true.
Trust me: the transition is unnerving,
But the end result will surely be worth
