Waiting for the tide to change

Life can be beautiful, serene, yet often rocky; 

Our hoped-for destinations close, and yet 

Impossible to reach. 

Sometimes it’s best to busy yourself 

Fashioning a raft while you wait 

For the tide to rise again...
