We always have the opportunity
To choose what we will focus on:
Will it be the thorny edges of things,
The textures and colors that surround us,
The budding potential of new growth,
All the rain that’s fallen,
The dark that looms in the background,
Or the light that illuminates
And clarifies our vision?
