Today we bow our heads in gratitude
For all who work to help us understand
The beauty of complexity;
The richness of a life that’s blessed
With a variety of colors and textures;
Who encourage us to reach beyond the familiar
And teach us to appreciate,
Embrace, and learn from differences.
