Seeing the fruit trees, wild, and free,
Blooming again after the long cold winter,
Lavish in their impending fruitfulness —
How can we not believe and trust
That after this harsh pruning
We’ll rebound, renewed in vigor,
Refreshed, resilient, and teeming with new life?
