Courage to be Grateful

How can we go on when the road ahead looks bleak

and what's behind is colored with regrets?

Sometimes it takes such courage to simply stand here, on the road,

and be grateful for this path that we've been given;

to trust it still will take us 

where we were always, always meant to be.
