How often, in our inflated inflatable lives,
Do we look back and long for simpler times,
When all we had, we needed, and could afford
Were the bare necessities
Essential to stay afloat:
A sponge to clean, a bucket to bail,
A rope to keep us safely tied,
And oars to help move forward
When the time came to move on.
