Welcoming the change

It’s as if all nature celebrates with exuberance 

These last few days of summer, 

Tossing clouds into the sky like confetti; 

An explosion of rejoicing; wild abandon 

To both celebrate the harvest 

And to welcome the return of winter’s rest. 

If only we could be so welcoming to change…
