Courage and exposure

We tend to forget 

That courage and vulnerability 

Are inseparably linked; 

That it’s when we take a stand 

Apart from the crowd; 

When we allow our uniqueness and our quirks 

To become most visible; 

That to be brave always means to risk 

Exposure.
