When will we learn to see beyond
Our own reflections and perceptions
On the surface of things
To the rock-hard truths that lie beneath?
And when we finally realize —
Are we capable of acting on what we know?
Whatever happened to changing your mind,
Admitting you’re wrong, and forgiving?
