Free to soar

I've always thought this was the iconic picture 

of my relationship with this man, 

whom I married 30 years ago today 

in a canoe on the Connecticut River: 

I have been free to soar and filled with joy, 

and he has always gently kept me grounded.

Thank you, Christian Walker, 

for the best thirty years of my life.  

You rock, babe.
