Touched by the light

What makes this image beautiful?

Surely it is the light, lending color to the clouds

and highlighting the simple shapes that clutter my neighbor's yard.

We, too, are not so much beautiful in ourselves,

but rather in how the light touches us

and moves through us into the world...
