Farther than we know

What lies beyond the harvest of our thoughts,

the carefully lined-up rows of our ideas,

the structures that we've built to share

what we believe is true?

Couldn't it be possible that truth extends

much higher and much farther than we know?

Beyond your dark reflections

We are not the thoughts we think.

We are not the stories we tell ourselves,

and not everything we think we see is true.

Take the time to look beyond your dark reflections

to the clear blue holy space from which they spring.

Travelers together

However deep the chasm between us may appear,

however unpassable this divide,

beneath those divisions we create by naming traits,

we are born of the same earth, created of the same cloth;

travelers together on this river of life.

Look to the hills

When trouble comes, look to the hills

And let them bring you peace.

Try looking up

If you find you've been looking down

A pretty lonesome road,

Try looking up: I think you'll find

You're not really alone...

The game is changing

While you're waiting to make your move,

The game is gradually changing:

Soon the familiar paths

will be too obscured to follow,

But your inner guide will help you find your way.

The invitation

Here I am, every day,

Opening my heart to you.

How long before you respond

To my invitation?
